The use of the Crane IQ app is possible without any indication of personal data; however, if a data subject wants to use special services via our app (e.g. requesting a tow truck), processing of personal data could become necessary.

2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data

When you use our app, we collect the following data:


Profile Details: Name, phone number (for contact by drivers/service providers).
Location Data: We need your precise location to find tow trucks near you and to perform the service. This data is only shared when you actively request a service.
Account Data: Authentication data (via Google Sign-In).
Vehicle Data: License plate, model, photos (for identification).

3. Web Storage and Local Data

Our application uses local storage technologies to improve user friendliness. Some elements of our application require that the user be identified even after a restart (e.g. language settings, login status).

4. Data Sharing

Your personal data will only be transmitted to third parties if this is necessary for the provision of our service. Specifically, we share your location, name, phone number, and vehicle information with the accepting tow truck driver so that they can find and contact you.

5. Deletion of Account

You have the option to delete your account and all associated personal data completely at any time. To do this, use the "Delete Account" function in the settings. After deletion, your data will be irrevocably removed from our systems.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to information about the data stored by us, to correction of incorrect data, to deletion of your data, and to restriction of processing. Please contact our customer service via phone for this purpose.
